Abstract
Equipped with the Aegis neural chip, Clarissa Velle learns at superhuman speeds and mind-hacks governments to build an interstellar spaceship. When Clarissa attends an art exhibition to mind-hack Racer Wynn, the CEO of a nanotechnology company, they are attacked by the Seekers, who strike them with a virus that ties them together—if one dies, so does the other.
