Some Glad Morning

Abstract

Some Glad Morning describes the author's experience growing up as a Preacher's Kid in rural Kentucky. As a minister in small and elderly congregations, his father developed an intimacy with death to which the author bore witness. This book explores how that intimacy with death deepened and changed in the events leading up to his father's own death in his senior year of high school.
